Dell Studio XPS 1640

Dell has introduced its new Studio XPS model. The Dell Studio XPS 1640 is an excellent desktop alternative with stunning multimedia features and an amazing blend of elegance and performance.

• Both are available in 15.4" widescreen display with 3GB/4GB RAM, 250GB/320GB Hard drive, Intel Core 2 Duo processor, finger print reader, bluetooth, integrated wireless and integrated 2MP webcam.
• Slot loading DVD writer is the default option and both XPS and Studio can have it upgraded to Blue-ray burner.
  

If you are looking for a mid budget high performance laptop, go for Studio with upgraded features. If light weight, sleekness and good multimedia features are important in addition to performance, and you can shell out few more hundred $$$, then the choice would be XPS.
